From the USA or Canada the most convenient routes to Bequia begin with a flight to St Vincent:
Miami to St Vincent (SVD) with American Airlines daily.
New York to St Vincent with Caribbean Airlines once a week.
Toronto to St Vincent with Air Canada Rouge Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays.
Then catch the ferry to Bequia, last ferry is 6 pm daily.
From UK, London (Heathrow) to St. Vincent with Virgin Atlantic three times a week, Monday, Wednesday & Sunday.
Daily flights to Barbados then directly on to Bequia with SVG Air, flights are daily at 1 pm or 4.30 pm. Returning at 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.
Barbados is a major gateway to the Caribbean with BA and Virgin from Gatwick and Manchester. American from Miami, Charlotte and New York.
Jet Blue from New York and Fort Lauderdale, Air Canada from Toronto and Montreal, Condor from Dusseldorf and Munich,
Caribbean Airlines and Inter Caribbean also connects with St. Vincent and many other Caribbean Islands.

The Beaches
The Grenadines islands are well known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and Bequia certainly lives up to this, with Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay which are absolutely not to be missed. Both can now be reached on foot by the new Belmont Walkway from Port Elizabeth or by local water taxi.

Port Elizabeth
The centre-point of Bequia is the town of Port Elizabeth, a favourite stop of yachtsmen for supplies, repairs, or just plain fun. It wraps around Admiralty Bay and has a waterside sidewalk, called the Belmont Walkway which connects the colourful jumble of shops, restaurants and bars lining the shoreline.
Day trip to St. Vincent
Expand your horizons with a trip to what locals call 'the mainland', after a gentle hour-long ferry trip (lookout for Dolphins) to Kingstown, wander the streets and the markets full of fresh produce, fruit and vegetables. Explore further afield on St Vincent, must-visits include the famous botanical gardens, La Soufriere volcano, Montreal Gardens with lush rainforests and waterfalls. Diving and snorkeling.
Bequia is a true diver's paradise rated by many as amongst the very best in the Caribbean. There are over 30 excellent and easily accessible sites in the sparklingly clear waters around the island, offering drift dives with intriguing caverns and holes, walls and overhangs, all teeming with wonderful coral formations and marine life. For the more experienced diver, exciting wreck and night dives are also available.

Sunshine School For Children with Special Needs
The Sunshine School for Children with Special Needs provides a nurturing learning environment for 30 students living in Bequia, ages five through twenty years. These children exhibit learning issues caused by a variety of physical, behavioral or mental challenges.
The Sunshine School is a privately funded, not for profit, institution administered by a local Board of Directors and is reliant on donations and fundraising in order to offer the students a wonderful learning environment.
Bequia Animal Protection Alliance
Bequia Animal Protection Alliance (BAPA) is a non-profit organization that has been created in response to the growing number of stray dogs in Bequia. BAPA is dedicated to preventing cruelty and replacing it with kindness to all animals. They provide medical care to animals in need and subsidizing veterinary care to low income families.
BAPA conducts ongoing spay/neuter and vaccination campaigns, treats medical conditions, administers emergency/first aid care, facilitates animal adoption and conducts public education programs. A weekly animal clinic/education center is held by Dr Eric Audain in Port Elizabeth, Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
In addition to veterinary supplies, BAPA would welcome supplies of animal related toys and books to provide to children attending the public education programs.
Friends of Bequia Hospital
Friends of Bequia Hospital was set up in 2013 to improve medical care on Bequia and supports the 3 medical facilities in Bequia: Bequia Hospital, Port Elizabeth Clinic, and Paget Farm Clinic. FOBH is administered by local Trustees and is reliant on donations of supplies and fundraising.
The first priority is to ensure that medication, frontline supplies and consumables are available to meet the ongoing needs of the people of Bequia. The ultimate goal of FOBH is to offer a centre of medical excellence, improving medical equipment and preventing the need for Bequia residents to travel to the island of St Vincent for medical care.
